Participants can either join a private pool initiated by acquaintances or enlist in a public pool, presenting an opportunity to compete against avid college basketball fans globally.

Rules Overview:

• The objective is to select outright winning teams throughout the tournament.
• Each team can only be picked once throughout the competition.
• Picks must be submitted before the first game of the day, regardless of involvement in the opening match.

The structure of the picks progresses as follows:

• On the first Thursday, two winners must be selected. Success allows advancement to Friday; failure necessitates four picks on Friday.
• If two winners were chosen on Thursday, only two picks are needed for Friday's advancement.
• Successful picks on Friday, whether two or four, allow participants to proceed to Saturday with just one required selection.
• Failed picks on Friday will require five selections for Saturday's games.
• If Saturday’s selections are successful, only one winner is needed on Sunday. However, if any pick fails, six picks must be made on Sunday to continue into the next week.
• Once again, each team may only be picked once during the tournament.
• Winning selections on Sunday lead to a simplified picking process for the remaining duration of the tournament—just one winner per day.

The ultimate victor is determined by who advances furthest in the tournament without elimination.
